The author Vincenza Amodeo was born in Gallico Marina (RC) on 20 September 1949.
She graduated from the "Mattia Preti" Art School in Reggio Calabria and since 1970 has been teaching art education and art history in various middle and high schools between Lombardy and Calabria.
After twenty years of service, he abandoned teaching to devote himself full time to his own artistic activity. Over the years he collaborated with various personalities from the world of art and fashion, making his works known through numerous solo exhibitions and participating to group exhibitions of both national and international importance.
With the cycle of paintings entitled "Women on the way", of which the work "Io Sono" is part, he embarks on an introspective journey that wants to induce the viewer to become aware of himself, meditating on the real value of every woman, which goes beyond the "role" that is recognized to her.
